A trip to the 350 square meter model and a visit to our favela allows you to get a much better understanding for the creativity and ingenuity of Project Morrinho. You’ll also get a chance to meet some of the model’s creators.
While our team has reproduced variations of this original model elsewhere, many visitors believe that the original Morrinho model is much more vibrant, being that it is in it’s original setting. Tours of the model include a narration of the story behind the project by one of the Morrinho members, an explanation of the different components of the model, and a showing of a few short films of TV Morrinho. There is also a line of products for sale, which include t-shirts, caps, photos, postcards and films. All proceeds go to further Project Morrinho’s initiatives.
